MEET THE BROKEN SPOKE FILM HOUSE TEAM
The Broken Spoke Film House is an Austin, Texas-based film production company that began in a small apartment in 2020. This small team has strived to achieve what they are most passionate about: making original short films that allows artists to showcase their talents. The name “Broken Spoke” is legendary here in Austin where it’s known for up-and-coming musicians to show off their talent. They hope to do the same for the many talented actors and actresses here in Austin (and Texas in general) as a place to show their creativity with no judgement. They have made short films such as "Quarantine," "The Party," and "Who Invited The Robots?" while also dabbling in video podcasts. If you have ideas or would like to be part of their next short film project, their door is always open!

Dan has had a passion for acting since seeing the film, The Last Of The Mohicans, starring Daniel Day-Lewis in 1992 at a local movie theater back home in Michigan. Seeing such an amazingly talented actor on the screen led to the pursuit of becoming an actor by starring in stage plays at school and creating his own films with his parents' VHS camera based on stories he would write. To this day, he remains very passionate about making films in both an acting perspective and assisting in the creation of stories from script writing to producing.

Jack has had an interest in filmmaking since watching the highway chase scene in The Matrix Reloaded, but his interest was put into high gear after watching Ex Machina and District 9. Being a part of Broken Spoke Film House with great friends and family is the perfect way to live out his dream.
